Yallambie from the south west. The path visible in the left centre of the photograph led to the front door from the gate shown in other photographs. The path was later realigned to bend south across the position where this photograph was taken, swinging under the existing Bakewell era oak tree visible on the right of this picture, before approaching the front door. In this altered state the drive was rarely used and eventually disappeared during the construction of Taree Place. Access to the house was usually through a gate on the road leading to the farm yard.
